Kings Park Students Featured in TV Talent Show

Three Kings Park singers will be featured on a public access television show on February 1st at 7:30 on Channel  20 according to the the shows host David Brandman.  Freshman Alyson Ganon, senior Nicole Lacker and junior Elizabeth Schneider who will also play the guitar.  A second show that will air either later in February or March will feature senior Gerard Johnston playing a saxophone, junior Pam Rattinger tap dancing and  junior Ashley Domenech singing.  Mr. Brandman will interview all the students after they perform.  Visit talent-showcase .com for more information.  

Love 4 Lauren Basketball Fundraiser

There will be a basketball fundraiser at Kings Park High School on Tuesday February 1st starting at 4 p.m. in the Gymnasium.  Lauren Lenardi is a ninth grader who was recently diagnosed with cancer.  There will be a JV Girls game followed by the Girls Varsity game.  Music will be provided by a local DJ, refreshments will be served.  There will be gift basket raffles and a 50/50 raffle.  Donations can be mailed to William T. Chamber-Theater Night

The Smithtown Chamber and the Smithtown Center for the Performing Arts have been rescheduled for Friday January 28th Annie begins at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $25.00 for adults, $18.00 for children.  An informal Dinner is planned for 6:00 p.m. at Old Street Pub.  For more information call631-979-8069.  

Rotary Snow Ball Fundraiser for Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck

The Rotary Club of Smithtown-Sunrise will be holding its 6th annual Snow Ballyour tickets or for more information Saturday Saturday at the Watermill Inn in Smithtown.  This event will raise money for Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck, a camp for children with special needs. There will be food, drinks, a basket raffle, 50/50 raffle and live music by The Dedications.

Tickets are $100.00 each or $1,200 for a table of 12.  A portion of the ticket proceeds will go to Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck.  Call Carol Walsh at 631-724-4028 for more information or to reserve your tickets.

Kings Park St. Patrick's Day Parade

Kings Park will celebrate St. Patrick's Day in style on Saturday, March 5, 2010 with the first St. Patrick's Day
parade in town history!  The parade will start at 12:00 PM from Memorial Field and end at Church Street!  
Sean Gann, Pastor of the Parish of St. Joseph will provide hospitality in Travis Hall immediately after the parade.
